County-Wide Family Campaign Awarded to intentional.

As a Lincoln-based Design Agency we’re always excited when an opportunity to give back to our local community arises. So when Visit Lincoln approached us in the Spring of 2017 with the task of positioning Lincoln on the map for tourists, especially tourists with young families, we were understandably thrilled.

 

The brief was to craft a flagship printed product outlining the best things to do in Lincoln with your children. It needed to outline specific destinations and had to be very easy to navigate through.

 

We started with the product. We landed on a 64 page DL Brochure. Something that was easy to keep in peoples’ bags, but finished in such a way that made it feel high end, to the point where no one would want to through it away. We then crafted a strong icon-driven navigation. Segmenting the destinations into a series of categories so that prospective families could easily find destinations appropriate to their trip.

Since it’s inaugural issue in 2017 The Lincoln Loves Kids brochure has been incredibly well received. The brochures have since been stocked in all Visitor Information Centres across the city and is Visit Lincoln’s flagship printed product for appealing to families both living in the county, and travelling to the county. The 2018-19 edition of Lincoln Loves Kids is already in production and will be landing in shops and Visitor Information Centres by the end of July 2018.
